Below are some useful resources and links

Please contribute useful resources to help build a thriving PhD researcher community that shares our interest in Pragmatism. This is a community resource, so please feel free to add posts in the Group message section of this website, and to add references, files or whole new folders in the section immediately below, to enhance our shared understanding and dialogue.

Ideas for contributions and resources for the section below include:

(* credit - Stijn Bruls)

1. List of University Departments with expertise in Pragmatist Research in OS, for students who are considering the jump from MA to PhD [+contacts?]. Ask them to link back to our POS site from an appropriate university page.

2. List of PhD Workshops and other one-off events that are relevant for POS.

3. Public links to various PhD student advice (books, blogs, networks) about writing a PhD and attaining funding (including relevant funding bodies) for research in the OS field.

4. Five-line Abstracts of relevant Theses that are available in the folder (section below) or via a link -- signposts are helpful for the novice. Any uploaded Documents would be visible only to Members.

5. Student voice:  over time if any PhD students, or early career scholars, would like to write pieces about their experiences of moving from MA to PhD while conducting research with a 'pragmatist temper', this would really bring the section to life.  [i.e. create a Group for interaction/conversation once we have a critical mass -- accessible only to Members]

6. Cumulative Bibliography: key readings recommended for students.

(* Joana Racine has kindly started the ball rolling with the editable Bibliographic file (XLS) accessible via this link created by Joana - please feel free to add to and edit the contents, to make it more valuable).

7. Other: e.g.

- presentations/lectures on key Pragmatism topics;

- overview of Pragmatist communities globally (networking)
